What was the biggest influence and evidence of the band Sandwich’s inspiration?
You don’t need a music critique and expert to figure it out. The synths. The riffs. The funk. The fast-lipped lyrics and melody of words. Mainly due to: Raimund Marasigan.
As he fronts on this number at The Final Set for the song “Alkohol” from the Circus album, it is obvious on why Sandwich is very successful: Sugar Raim’s energy and passion that complements Ely Buendia’s poker face-ish stance especially on live acts.
Which makes it even more kick-ass as the years pass by.
